Price Negotiable.

I started digging into it to redo it to make it really nice, but I've since given up and just want to buy a new car altogether. So I'm cutting this car loose for $500. Its appropriately priced, I think higher or lower would be getting a bit unfair on both sides.

However it is a single passenger vehicle, but there are still the seat belts where the back seat was and the passenger seat is missing.

I recently put a lot of work into the engine, thats why I kinda ran out of money when I got to doing the interior of the car... its got a new cat converter, valve cover gasket, spark plugs, altinator, etc. There is hardly a thing to worry about under the hood. The car runs just fine, I've taken care of it with regular oil changes, and kept up with standard maintenance.

There is no body damage of any sort. To my knowledge the car has never been in any accidents. But for my taste, Pontiac 6000's are ugly ass cars, hence why I was trying to fix it up... it used to belong to an old lady who also made sure to take the car in for regular service.

Basically, its just an ugly duckling who just needs it to get around on a daily basis. There's plenty of room on the inside since there are no other seats aside from the driver's; good for musicians, people who move around a lot, sports gear, lawn maintenance; or just plain old living in it!

Could use some minor TLC in the dash area, gauges are wired up, I think the speedometer is a bit 'slow' to get up to speed though.

Its automatic, and its white with a black racing stripe of the hood, in case you were wondering what color it is. And the tires still have plenty of tread, but are about due for a rotation.

Like I said, she ain't pretty, but if ya put a bag over her head you'd never know the difference!

My word is my bond, it runs fine! Come down and have a see for yourself!

Questions and comments can be emailed to me to the above address. I am swift and speedy with responses!

Thanks, and happy hunting!

But, for $500...

I should offer him some money to buy the guage cluster that has all the bells and whistles. My speedo/gas guage only isn't cutting it! However, I don't know if my car has the wiring associated with all of these guages. Im sure that he won't be missing the gauges, since the interior is missing. What was he tryin to do, drag race? Hopin for high 18s? At least a junkyard run should solve the problem of the lacking interior.

You read my race article didn't you?

For the money it seems like it'd be a decent car, even with a Duke. I'm not really feeling the orange valve cover and air cleaner, but it's great that he spent some effort on a lowly 6000.

Your car doesn't have the wiring for it. It is possible to convert.

Not worth $500 anymore. Maybe if It had an interior. I don't even see the climate control.

The head isn't the problem in the Dukes, it's the weak crank and thin cylinder walls. I've heard of a turbo kit way back when for the Duke but it didn't sell too well once cranks started ****ting themselves and destroying engines.

Also, good luck even finding a trail to start on for one of those Super Duty heads... Well, you might be able to use a Pontiac head of some sort, since it seems like the Duke is a 307 cut in half, but even that is pushing it.
