will 205/70/14 tires fit without any problems on 94 century and/or a 95 ciera with the original factory wheels? I'm just hoping someone here has already tried this! Thanks.

What were the factory size? Gotta give a little more info there dude if you want accurate help.
My '93 Ciera had 185/75/14s on it originally, don't know about a '95 though.

I have 205 x 70 x 14 tires with alloy wheels on my car and they work Just fine. No Problems. It is an 89 Ciera. You will get a much better ride with the wider tires. Go for it. With the wider tires, I suggest you use less that Max Pressure. About 30 to 32 Lbs should be good.. P.M.

185/75 came standard on my Buick and Olds, but since my Celeb Eurosport came standard with 195/75 I figured that would work and it does. I like the profile of the 205/70 and I know the diameter is smaller than the 195 but I was worried about the width--either interfering with a component of the car or being too wide for the factory rim which was actually made for the 185. By the way, does anyone know the width of the factory rims? I can't seem to find that info. Thanks.

The Rims are 14 x 5.5 inches. The 205 tires x70 are about 3/8 of an inch taller than the standard 185/75 tires. Changing to the 205 tires would make about a 1.5% difference on the speedometer. The tires do not appear to rub even when I turn the steering wheel all the way. The 205 tires add to the appearance of the car- they give it a muscle car stance look. If you want to get alloy wheels at low price, many 1993 cutlass Cierra's at auto recyclers have nice looking aluminum alloy wheels. Hope this helps you. PM.

Agreed. I've probably got the same wheels you do. A cautionary word on the 205s though—they're kind of an oddball size, and with the current trend toward larger wheels it's been pretty tough finding them at the likes of Walmart and Discount. Generally it'll only be one tire or one set in one brand, leaving you with little choice on either brand or price.
