Sounds like you blew a wheel cylinder in the back. Or got the rusty-line-with-a-hole-in-it syndrome beneath the car. Otherwise pull your rear drum off and check it for fluid. As for the front, maybe the caliper is sticking. Take it off and lube the slides. And then do the same for the other side and bleed the entire system making sure to get all of the air out.

The brake light on can only be indicated by low fluid, e-brake on, or some with a combination valve could also sense low brake pressure.
Check all lines and rear wheel cylinders. If your not losing fluid, though you probably are if the light is on, suspect the master cylinder.

okay i'll check the backs again but when i found the waxy goo i didn't see any fiuld leaks. when i put the calpers in i sorta rebuild them i took them apart and cleaned them. did the slids. the front breaks work well i been doing al this on gravle with light breaking.
looks like its line time. fun........
should i get crazy is there anything i can put in the lines to clean any rust out.. like merice acid............should i totaly empty my system. i realy not in the mood to change lines.

Lines are the biggest dislikes to get into, but are very easy once started.
I could have a FREE 3800 94ish Buick or olds 88/98 dont remember what the guy said. It just needs brake and fuel lines. I am NOT interested in f-ing with them. The car has like 110k on it and everything. I want it but DONT want the work!

lol. I was just going to say to just cut it off and throw a new one on the new line. I had to do that with almost every brake fitting in my car. A major PITA.

That "waxy goo" on the rear brakes is actually brake fluid that has soaked into the shoe pads. When the parking brake was applied and heated the lining, the fluid came out like that. I've had 3 rear wheel cylinders to do the same. Makes the brakes really "grabby" and out of balance. Sometimes it will actually go "bang" it locks up so harshly. The amount of fluid loss from the M/C is negligable but it only takes a few drops to ruin the shoe pads and make waxy goo.
If the pedal goes down easy then "hits a wall" it's the rear brakes auto slack adjusters are not adjusting. Also can cause weel locking / skidding. Combine this with gummed linings from the leaking wheel cylinder, and the rear brakes are effectively an "on-off" switch.:(
As I found out the hard way, cheap chinese drums can also cause numerous malfunctions...
Hope you get the lines fixed, they are a PITA. I remember adding that fuel return line to my project car. No fun.
Don't give up!
