fuel pump ate it..room for upgrade?

SO i hopped it blue hair yesterday to run to work and no dice. Fuel pumps dead as a door nail. I shoulda known since it stalled on me once a month or so, but i just chalked that up to it being an old car.

Anyways its going to the shop tomarrow, would it be worth it to run to the speed shop and try and find a walbro or another high flow pump? I figure since this is the only time Ill ever have the tank dropped it might be a good idea.

I dont agree. Regular pump will run plenty of FP for anything that is available to upgrade the car. Unless you plan on boosting it sometime.

same the flow on the pumps are great, but are you sure its the pump? do you have fuel perrusre or no

oh yea its croked...it isnt running at all. No priming going on. I picked up a stock unit and its getting towed tomorrow to the shop. 120 bucks in labor...not too bad,.

Yea, make sure you stick with AC Delco on the pump. The aftermarket units are loud!!
