The thing the hood latch bolts to is the radiator support. Cut and weld a new one in is the only method of repair I'm aware of.

A wrinkle? What like a dent?

not hums like pn old ladys face. a wrinkle.

as for the rad support no im wish i would have drilled out hte spot welds on that blue buick (the totaly sracped one) befor i sent it to the crusher so it looks like i be drill the welds and doing a lot of bending.

This is the damage to my coupe that was caused by an old lady running a stop sign back in 2005. If you look close you can see that the radiator support and also the apron panel were crunched a bit. I took it to a local body-shop and they straightened it all back out on a frame machine for a few hundred bucks. It was well worth it. It is important to note though, that the damage to the unibody structure on my car was almost non-existent, it only had a bent radiator support and apron.

The damage:

See the collapsed inner structure (the part that the vapor cannister sits on was smashed in):

Getting it all lined back up! (thank you Rarecar for the 86 header!) :
