So, apparently my power steering fluid has lately been "vanashing". I know that it doesn't really disappear, I'm just saying that because it doesn't form a puddle under the car, it just goes bone dry. I'm assuming it's an internal leak.
Any ideas on how to find out where it's leaking/burning?

try replacing with power steering fluid that also fixes leaks. I had a similar problem that i fixed doing this

You mean the ones you see at Auto-Zone that say "Power Steering fluid now with "Advanced Stop Leak""?
I always wondered if those things were more damaging to the car... I guess at this point in the game it couldn't hurt. :)

yes, exactly. yeah I used it on my car in July and it has at least slowed it down enough so that I havent had to add any to this point. I havent had any problems since then so I wouldnt worry too much.

Awesome. Next time it runs down (Which should be in a week or so seeing that I just threw some fluid in yesterday) I'll give it a try.
Thanks!

some of them actually "guarantee" to stop the leak so I guess even if it dosent stop the leak you can get your money back

Great. I had been wondering if there wasn't such a thing on the market. Either as an additive, or ready to pour in hydro fluid.
Can it also be used in the automatic tranny?

Yeah they do make transmission stop leak, but in my opinion I don't trust putting anything but transmission fluid in it. That goes double for a sealant.
