This is my 6000 LE i picked up and am very happy with so far. 450$ needed a battery, has brand new tires on it, still with the nubs, and good glass and runs very well. Drives nice and suspension and steering is tights. has 206k on it with a 3.1 V6. Pretty nice car, pretty fast for what it is too, very surprising, but the exhaust is all rotten and its loud, wich is getting fixed friday. The only work iv done is a new battery, Radiator fan, plugs and wires, upper dog bone, air filter, and an oil change. Also some other small things needed fixed, wich im getting to.

Only thing I don't like about it, is the antenna... it looks as if some caveman attacked it with a thin speer! :) Apart of that, you should be glad for getting it.
I would recommend you to change the front bench with individual seats... for comfort. I had the original individual seats removed from mine, in exchange for some Mitsubishi seats, that made the car a lot more enjoyable to sit in (I promise to put up pictures of the seats later on).
Lots of congratulatulations on your ride!

there was a 6k in the yard with maroon interior, bucket seats, center consol with floor shifter, power locks and windows. then they crushed it the day i was gonna pull parts, i walked out in the yard and it was gone, and i saw it at the very top of the crush pile.

Ok so I had some fun cleaning up the engine bay and powdercoating some things, and i put all new 2 1/4 exhuast with a nice turbo muffler on it to quiet it down.

wow the engine bay looks amazing..... hows that turbo muffler sound? i put one on my celeb and its sounded amazing at first, now it just kinda sounds like my old muffler did. cant really tell by your interior pics, but is the carpet kinda stained? mine was stained with dirt and grime that after 18 years just wouldnt come up. i went to pepboys and got this vinyl and fabric coating (dye) stuff in bllue and redid my whole carpet.. looks amazing. worth giving a shot (not just you, everyone here) if cleaning isnt working

Looks awesome!
What did you use to clean the engine? Just a power washer and soap? I'd like to give mine a nice shine up like that! lol

Is that 2-1/4 exhaust larger than stock? If so, will it free up a few ponies?

Stock the muffler is a 1 3/4, and i bumped it up to 2 1/4 from the cat back to the tail pipe, i defintaly can tell a seat in the pants difference. I cleaned the engine bay with Simple green, engine degreaser from walmart, a brush, and a power washer. Im only 17! this is my 5th car! Hehe.
Go here for my other cars iv had, I currently also own my 1990 Pontiac Turbo Grand Prix

That's tiny... Should probably get that done to the Celebrity. That's definitely a problem with engines from the oil crisis on. They can't breathe properly.
A couple of good examples: My '86 Suburban made 180 hp out of a 350; a Corvette of the same year made 200 with fuel injection and a proper dual exhaust. The old Cadillac 472 could only wheeze out 220 or so hp after being choked by emissions, down from something like 425.
