They are also selling a magnet for bikes, which is "guaranteed" to change red lights to green.... I think that kind of snake-oil speaks very loud for itself.

Just another IAT sensor mod, wouldn't waste my money on it, but if you do and it works then I'll try it ;)

Yea I had a good idea of what it was, I read on another forum that a side effect of this is carbon buildup, which I figured anyway. If theres really no way of it to damage anything it may be worth the 20 bucks to debunk it. Make a good youtube vid anyway. lol

The Progressive Tuner simply wires into the factory harness of the IAT sensor. The module will work with the sensor to provide a new signal to your vehicles computer, or ECU. The ECU then adjusts your air/fuel and timing advance curves to new performance settings.

The 3300 doesn't have an IAT sensor so I don't see how this would work?

Cant you do a similar thing with the maf?

Probably, but it would seem to be wasted fuel if you made the ECM think you were getting more air than you actually were

If its like the others out there, it just tricks the ecm into thinking the engine is colder than it actually is. Keeps it in closed loop. Or maybe its open loop, don't remember which it is that the ecm is in before the car warms up.

Yea..I think its open loop..idr either. Anyway I think trying to burn all that extra fuel without the air being there is just going to lead to fouling.

open loop until warm or 02 warm atleast, then closed.
