Browsing that catalogs and I'm planning to replace struts and shocks in a month or two. Currently Monroe has a rebate that would save me $50 and buying from Rock Auto the prerebate cost would be $353 shipped. That would be for their 'quick struts' (strut, spring and bearing plate) and Monroe-matic rear shocks.
Of the brands available who do you prefer?

Well, im using KYB gr-2's on my celebrity and i dont really have any complaints. They are still nice and snug after almost a year (i would hope lol). I upgraded to firmer springs when I did it so I noticed a huge improvement in handling, but as far as keeping factory spec springs i can't really give an opinion.

I put in Monroe's on both my cars, and have no complaints whatsoever.
Cost over here is $20 ea. for the rear ones, and I think I remember correctly $45 ea. for the front struts. A total of $130 for all 4.
