Hi everyone. My vehicle is a 1990 Buick Century Limited.

This will be kind of hard to explain so please bare with me :happysad:

The master switch for my power windows (the one on the driver's side with all four window switches) does not work for neither of my four windows, however, the separate switches on the rest of my window work fine. So with that being said, all of my windows roll up and down fine with their own switch, except for the driver's side window (fortunately its stuck up) which is only ran by the master switch (no more fast food drive-thrus for me ). I have checked all the fuses/breakers and every thing seems to be fine.

I have gone to the junk yard and got another master switch, but the same symptoms still persist :(

Oh! one other thing. The power door lock switch on the window's master switch is working fine.

Thanks for any suggestions,
Matt

Its an old car and the master switch is on the divers door soo.... think about it. The drivers door is the one that gets opened and closed the most so after 19 years of opening and closing the wires are getting bent back and forth so they break and no more power windows. Check to make sure all of the wires going into the door are fine if they are broken solder them up and they should work. OR the power window motor is shot.

Correct....Correct....the wires that come from vehicle's body, and then go into door...Bingo...check for hot wire, and the ground wire.

My car had this when I got it, and again when another wire broke. Wires in the rubber boot that go from the door jamb to body frequently break. I would say that's almost certainly the problem.

But you would have found this out already if you looked for 12v/ground at the switch.
