Im just wondering what all you can do to thses cars. Like can century rear bumpers fit? I dont really like how the ciera bumpers wrap around to sides. What body panels are interchangeable among a-bos, etc.
Also is there a way to make my speedometer more accurate, its 5mph off (if it reads 55 im doin 50) doesnt bother me but if i can fix it i will lol. :slap:

Speedo being off, you need to check 2 things. First, the tire size, if you dont havet the right tire size, your speedo is going to be off, and its going to be progressively off.
If your tire sizes are right, then its to the dealer you go. You have a 95, which means you have a OBD1.5, and pretty much only the dealer can reprogram those, unless you know someone that is willing to give it a try.

Your stuck with a Ciera, nothing else fits nor looks right. There are upscale model cieras with cool front and rear bumpers and side skirts that you may run into at the wrecking yard, along with full gauge cluster, center consol with floor shift, bucket seats, ect ect

Yeah i wanna to find the cieras with the diferent bumpers and skirts. Yeah tires are the correct tiny size 185/75r14 :( i think it needs wider by far. And i have some blue buckets from a old beretta laying around thinking bout seeing if i can make some brackets for them to work since beretta/corsica seats have a funky seat track. And i fricken want a full cluster tach and all!

I don't know how many years the Cutlass Ciera International Series was made, but I know they were made in at least 89 and 90. These cars were equipped quite differently than the regular Cutlass Cieras. One thing I know was different was they used wider tires, which seems to be something you want. Don't quote me on this but they were something like 205 95 R14s- so if you can find the right rims they'll go right on there.
These cars also came with nice bucket seats, often in leather, a floor shifted console, and definitely full instrumentation-though full instrumentation was available on the regular Cutlass Ciera, Ciera S, and Ciera SL if you ordered it. I don't know if they still had all those models by 95, but things did not change that much during the 89-96 model years, so anything you'd want from a different year would bolt up.
The Int. Series also offered the FE3 suspension package. I don't know how that is different from the FE1 suspension most of them came with, but I'm quite certain you got a bigger front sway bar, and possibly a rear sway bar. You also got different struts up front that were firmer than what the base model offered.
I don't know what the International Series offered in terms of bumpers or anything, that was different from what the normal Ciera offered.
I know you cannot put a Century bumper on a Cutlass Ciera. Technically I think it will fit on there, but I don't think it will look right- you could try it and let us know maybe. The Century bumper does not wrap around the way it does on the Cutlass Ciera. But it also might be too short (?) not sure though.
Incidentally it's an unfortunate fact that GM typically offered its cars only with the very basics in terms of instrumentation for many years. i.e. speedometer and fuel gauge only. Later on they started adding at least a temperature gauge.
Full instrumentation, meaning a temperature gauge, volt gauge, and sometimes an oil pressure gauge or occasionally a trip odometer, was not offered unless you specifically ordered it- even on the nicer models.
This was one thing I liked about Chrysler Corp vehicles prior to 1980- even on the most basic car they offered (like a Volare or a Horizon) they always offered full instrumentation. Later on in the 80s this was not true for them however.

Let's straighten a few things out here:
Option codes W45 and W49 were used by Oldsmobile to designate the Ciera GT/International coupes and sedans respectively. The coupe began in either '85 or '86 (depending on sources, but they were advertised as early as the start of '85) to replace the ES coupe that was dropped after '84. The GT sedans were apparently offered in '87 only, again to replace the ES sedan. The '86 GT coupes did not have the composite headlamps ("Euro" style one-piece headlights) and as such the front bumper is actually different to compensate for the additional height required by the halogen headlights. The front bumper from an '86 coupe will leave a gap under the grille and headlights of any composite headlamp equipped Ciera. In '88 the GT coupe and sedan were replaced by the International Series, which received only a three year production run, ending in 1990.
No "sport" model Cieras were available after the death of the International, and the Ciera coupe was killed the following year. The full gauge cluster continued to be available up until '92, however. The full gauge cluster was not offered once air bags and ABS were introduced, leaving only the "base" cluster, dominated by the 180° sweep speedometer, flanked by a temperature gauge and fuel gauge.
The tires used on the Ciera GT in '86 were 215/60R14s, by the way. Other suspension upgrades did indeed include a larger, 26mm, front sway bar and special springs and shocks/struts for the FE3 suspension package. The FE3 suspension package could be ordered on lower model Cieras, but as it was often older people ordering the cars it seems that they usually did not bother.
The GT and International models had lower body cladding that included redesigned front and rear bumpers, the front bumpers having fog lamps incorporated into the lower section. See this page (http://encyclopedia.classicoldsmobile.com/cutlass/ciera/86.html) for a picture of the '86 Ciera GT.

Well. there was a FE3 equipped Ciera S coupe, and I looked up Cutlass Ciera S cars, apparently 1991 and 1992 had the S designation for the 2 door coupes...it was basically the same as an XC but without the red stripe trim or the blacked out window trim.
