starter qeustion

okay as some of you know a while back my start brock a bolt of in the block.................(still inst out waiting on getting a right angle drill) but in doing to it damaged the mounts points on my starter........i dont have the cash 219.00 buck of the right starter but i have a starter of that 2.5 thats up fro sale. do you guys thing it will have enough trouqe to start my motor.

ps the right starter for my 4.3 is a huge gear reductions starter.

I suspect it would not be powerful enough.

i was thing that to but then i saw a 6.5deisel starter and if had the same size motor in it but with the bendix...........it owrht a shot.
