Since I've had quite enough of the GM 2 BBL POS carb, I've been looking for a way around that non-performing junk to improve driveability of my 86 Celebrity wagon. After talking with a buddy about a possible Edelbrock conversion to their intake with a Holley 390 4 BBL, he suggested that I look at Weber conversions. Weber has been making quality stuff for a long time (he's a VW performance guru, lots of stuff for those VW's from Weber) and lo & behold, looks like they make a bolt-on conversion!!!!! And the whole deal is less than $400.
This might save me from selling this car & buying a Roadmaster wagon.
I'll post updates as I go along.

i have a weber 38/38 sitting in my room right now :) yea these strait 2bb carbs have been on porches and old ferraris.. mean carbs.. was going to put it on my old 88 honda accord, and thought about changing out the efi to carb on my 91 ciera V6 but wouldnt know how to install a distributor cap.... so now im selling this $400 carb to some guy in san antonio for $250.. sucks i have to sell it for so damn low :(..
i would recommend a weber whether it be a 32/36 or 38/38..
