The above is a pic of the heater hose set-up for the 2.2L engine in my '93 Ciera. Which would be the inlet hose? I am thinking it is the shorter hose, designated by the number "9" next to it....

im not sure. but it looks like the longer hose goes straight to the water pump, whereas the short hose goes to the upper radiator water neck...

Easy Question. The long one is located next to the return hose from the radiator to the engine, the short one is next to the thermostat where heated coolant leaves the engine. Short is inlet, long is outlet (relative to the core).
