Hello all,
I need to remove the front bank spark plug cover on my '93 century 3.3 in order to replace the plug wires.
Is there an easy method to remove the cover?
The factory manual requires the use of an engine hanger to remove the engine strut assembly to pull the bank cover.
Thanks

huh. you shouldnt have to remove the front bank spark plug covers, at least, I don't think my 93 century 3300 had them? had to remove the torque strut assembly though.
could you post a picture of the engine bay if possible? I think they're mostly held on by the torque strut bracket, I think i have seen similar set ups on 3.3 equipped cars in the yard

Pull up on the cover? I never had a problem on my 2 3300 powered. They slide off. They're a little hard to put back on. (Or just leave them off I have)

Ok gang,
I successfully removed the two piece front bank spark plug wire cover by loosening the torque strut assembly, then pulling up on the wire cover. I didn't use an engine hanger as directed by the factory manual.
Thanks for the input
