Kay, so I did get the driver side in fine. It was just the missing sleeves.

Bad news is I got the passenger side lower caliper bolt out, then stripped the driver side upper. :( It was only a year ago I did the brakes, so It really shouldn't have been siezed.

Anyone have any other ideas besides replacing steering knuckle? I do NOT want to have to pull the CV+Strut to get this going again.

i did the same thing when i changed my brakes for the first time this spring. is the star pattern stripped or the threads? if its the star pattern, i was scared and lost for about an hour but then realized the rubber covers that go around the bolt are removable.. so i pulled it off and used i thing vise grips or something along those lines to grab the bolt and turn it. hopefully this helps

Star patterns stripped.

GOOD IDEA on the vice grips. Yeah, the rubber boot is probably removable. I'll try vicegrips but I dunno if it'll be able to grab such a smooth surface with any success.

Plumber's wrench will do the job, but you may have to buy a SMALL one. Wise grip is good, but if the bolt is like STUCK, then the plumber's wrench will be your best buddy.

Here is the most common thing: http://upload.hraunfjord.org/files/Pwrench1.jpg
While I prefer this model: http://upload.hraunfjord.org/files/Pwrench2.jpg

I have owned the latter type in many different sizes, the smallest around 8 inches long. If that can't get it, only a torch will do... or welding a new head onto the head... but that's the same work basically.

try some PB blaster. big vice grips or welder if you hit the bolt head with a short zap from a arc welder on high i usaly frees the bolt of you need you get it read hot and cool it down realy fast (get a new bolt after wards)

I got the bolt out and replaced it with new bolts/sleeves from AZ. Vice-grips did just fine.
