Horayyy for new Struts!!
I bought new struts for the Cutlass C on Thursday, and we put them on that night. The driver's side strut was completely shot. I could push it down with a finger and I had to pull it back up. Friday I got to drive the car. Beisdes being a little out of line, the car rides much better! I can now go around bumpy corners without the fear of shimmying off the road, and I don't have to worry about hitting a bump and still feeling it 1km later! So thank god for new struts! Oh and for a price. They were a little more than $75ea.
I'd post pictures, but you all know what struts look like.

Sears has SHOCKS for 14.99.
And $15 shocks blow. Cheaper always makes a difference in auto parts. Case in point:Valucraft brake pads from AZ.
You do know struts and shocks are different parts right? They serve the same purpose, but there different.
Edit: Not trying to be an ass, but..

WHOA! $75 per strut? I hope they are really good ones. I've got some KYB GR2's here at the house i picked up for $53 a piece. Did you get the "quick struts" with the spring on them?

Haha, thanks Holiday.
And it was just the strut, I had to compress my springs and put them on the strut. And $73 was the cheapest I could find. They came from NAPA. Shocks are about $30 less than struts. But I have no need for shocks yet.

"The cheapest priced part doesnt always end up being the cheapest option" is what I have always said.

For the Price paid, Those front struts sound like Monroe Matic Plus, or Monroe Sensatrack Struts..
The rear shocks for these cars should be reasonable, but the Struts will cost a little..
I actually got Struts for the Van on Closeout( usually $50Ea, I got them for $20 Ea )

I got KYB GR-2 struts for the rear of a Fiero for $44 a piece from SummitRacing.com. Actually, they price matched TireRack.com but I think they were on sale at the time.

lol. I threw those on my car last year b/c I was low on cash. They're still working (No squeak) but I'm sure I'll be replacing them soon.
