I got some new struts for the Ciera the other week. I saw that Tirerack.com had KYB GR-2 rear Fiero struts for $45 a piece and I thought that was a great price. I also had to order some stuff from Summit Racing so I called them up to see if they would match the price. They matched the price and beat it by a dollar so I got a set of front struts for $88. I went with Fiero struts because I honestly think the front is too low with the Eibach springs and I want to try to run a wider tire. I think I can squeeze in some 245s with the Fiero spring perch being a little higher(~1/4").

You shouldn't need 245's unless you did an L67 swap...

Oh, wait... :P

Yeah, the stock springs really suck to compress enough to take them apart. Luckily the Eibachs are much shorter and a lot easier to do. I'm also currently making a strut tower brace for the front. Then all I need to get is a rear swaybar and I'll be set suspension wise. :)

Haha this car is the coolest car on the site! Hell, its probably the coolest A-body out there! Hows that tranny holding up? I hear horror stories about them on the track.

The trans is doing fine, but I have not turned the boost past 7 psi yet. I'm going to be starting a new thread about all the details of the car soon including stuff about the swap. I'm hoping to go to the track this Friday and I'm shooting for a 13.3 @ 107 on 7 psi. I always said I wanted to run a high 12 on 10 psi and street tires, but that's when I thought my stock injectors would be big enough for 10 psi. :D

Thats cool, good luck at the track. How much did you get all of the motor and trans for? How much did the swap cost? I am assuming you used an A-body front subframe that had a 3.8 in it before you did the swap. I suppose if I was to put an L67 in my car that I would have to scrap the 2.8 subframe for the 3.8. I'll look forward to your post about your project.
