yea, i have to replace that black coupler cause well..it looks damned ugly and is made of rubber..I try to use mainly silicone couplers.

every things from autozone. The strait bit I got from a full pipe that was prob ment for a honda or other 4 banger so i had to cut it and mate it with an elbow.

elbow=10 bucks

main pipe=40 bucks

filter=25 bucks i think( dont remember)

couplers=8 bucks a piece i think ( dont remember that either)

a bit pricey but its a job done right.. and it sounds bad ass.

I used an angle grinder to cut the piping to fit.

It looks nice, so since it looked nice and I went out and go some parts as well. Holy crap man! The sound of it, is amazing and definitely can feel a little more power. Great mods man, maybe I'll post my pics, all red accents but I just went with the elbow, maybe eventually I'll add more pipe and set it forward more, I've got a hose that rides behind the grill and ends a little in front of the filter for now.

Are you going to add a tray so splash doesn't get sucked up?

thanks man

I started with just an elbow and a filter at first also..worked well. I mainly just wanted to get the filter away from the exhaust manifolds so i added he extra pipe. Eventually im going to shield the filter...pre made shields arent cheap though, ill prob make one but i really wanna finish my fiberglass first.

These roller-cam tuned port engines have a VERY aggressive intake roar! No denying it is an American iron vee-block engine and not some plastic import! :)
