I finally got everything together with my driving lights. I still need to clean up some of the wiring (tie the wires up better and trim the tails off of zip ties). Also, some of the pics were progress pics, so I didn't have everything done.

Here's the switch mounted. I need to tuck the wiring up a bit better, but from the driver's or passenger's seat. You can't see the wiring.

The power for the & ground for the switch is from the ashtray light. This way, the lights can only be turned on when the park lights or headlights are on.

Here's where I drilled through the firewall. This is on the passenger side and the wire comes through slightly above and behind the tie rod/steering rack assembly.

Here's the wire snaking under the hood.

Here's the relay for driving lights with some extra wiring.

Power wire hot off the battery. I've replaced the factory battery terminals so I can add power accessories easier.

Here they are installed. I'll try to get some pics of them lit up later tonight.

Nice job. They make a world of a difference compared to just the stock lights when aimed correctly.

Thanks, I took it for a quick drive after dark, and realized that the lights hit the ground about 3 feet in front of the bumper. But even with them not adjusted, they are great.

The next step is to replace the factory headlight bulbs with silverstars.

Not the most aesthetically pleasing, but its hard to find driving lights that look natural for these cars. nice job!

I've been researching this evening. I'm looking into options to wire a capacitor to the lights so they seem to fade in and out when turned on and off.

I like the "fade" idea. Very clever electrical job, I'm not as proficient as I'd like to be at wiring.
