as i read more dont do that ever...................wieght tell a rebuild. if the carben is that bad something must be reay messed up...............

I have heard of this technique before and it does have some validity but for my money I'd rather use Sea-Foam as it's more flammable and actually contains a solvent to remove deposits. Most people usually use a spray bottle of water into the throttle body, thereby misting the water beforehand. There are several homebrew engine cleaning tricks that are often hotly debated; ranging from just romping on the car every so often, to using fuel additives, to full on engine rebuilds. Some ideas are more bizarre. I've used uncooked rice to clean out carbon in an old pickup truck that was dieseling. Sounded strange yet it seemed to work regardless...
