Needed another car to drive to school while my '90 Century is down, picked this up from a little old lady I left my number with nine months ago, she gave me a steal on it with only minor issues, original R12 AC works great too.

$500

Factory STB?

I had it in my garage so I put it on, than I picked up the ST-to-Core support brace at the yard from a DeVille and put em on.
I just wish it was a loaded as my '86 Park Avenue although it makes my Centurys quite spartan in comparison.

Wow, $500 for that! Sometimes I wish I had that kind of luck! Looks to be in pristine condition! how many kms, sorry miles. And what year is it?

Do a lot of older cars in CA not have the rear window defrost? I thought It would be standard on a Park Ave but I don't see it in the picture. Also, that car in that condition would bring a couple of grand in Iowa easily. Rust free 80's cars virtually don't exist here. Nice find!

The sealed-beam headlamps & lack of a third brakelight is making me guess that it's an '85, wasn't that the first year for those???

It also has a distributor instead of coil packs. I always thought '86 was the first year.

Yes, '85 first year for fwd C-Body, 165k miles

I'm in the desert climate so rear defog is wasen;t usually optioned. My '86 Park Avenue which was the dealer demo is only four options short of having every thing doesn't even have defog. The only additional non standard Park Avenue equipment this one has is twilight setinal and auto climate control.

'86 was the first year for DIS, '85 the first FWD C-Bodys had SFI and a distributor, although a limited number of '84 Centurys and Cieras had it as well making them the first FWD 3.8 although SFI and not carbed.
