I was looking at all the ad sites in my area. I found a citation that had the same motor as mine, but was blown up, thought I could get it cheap and put mine in it..

When to go look at, the guy on the phone said there is a little rust on it but on much, so I asked him to send me a pic of it, they guy spoke like he had a silver tounge, the guy told me it had sat for a while, but as you can see there is mold in the paint

so i had hope , but the pic says diffrent

a citation was about the biggest pile GM has ever built. maybe not the biggest, but its up there. car and driver just put out an article apologizing for certian cars on their 10 best. among the apologizes was the citation.

I can't believe you said that! Wash your mouth, mister! :lol: JK You know they are closely related to the A-body, right?

I'm a fan of the Citation, but mostly of the 2 door/ X-11 variety.

J2000=Cavalier

T1000=Chevette

So close but...... You are looking for the Pontiac Phoenix

ahh! I see, I usually like the pontiac variants of any brand. Was there an olds and buick version.

the seville wasn't on the x-platform, it was the K-platform. There was no cadillac on this platform the closest thing would be the cimmaron which was on the j-platform.

:lol: What a joke that was - it was dubbed as a "dressed up Cavalier". Kinda cute, but if you're gonna drive a Cadillac... :dunno:

Just like the A platform, before being designated for a FWD platform, the X bodies were RWD, so technically you're correct, just the wrong drivetrain.

Hey i almost got one, 2.8 V6 3 speed, power everything, leather, it was a sweet little car. I think there pretty cool, the poor mans caddy, hehe, bet they get awsome mileage.

Hmm...I wonder how a 4.9 would do in one of those... :rofl: It would be a Caddy engine in an actual Cadillac, even though it's really a Cavalier at heart. :kekeke:
