So, this all started last night. We've been under a "Winter Storm Warning" for twenty-four hours now. About an hour before I took my g/f home last night, I heard what I thought was rain falling. It wasn't. My car was only outside for about an hour before I went out to take her home. And it was already covered this much:

And then today, it's been raining/sleeting/freezing raining all day. I just went outside and took some pictures. There have been tree branches falling left and right. And the power lines at the neighbor's are about four feet from the ground now. We're gonna lose power before all of this quits...and that isn't expected to happen until mid-day tomorow.

:eek5:

The red Tacoma is my grandpa's. It gets to sit out in the elements while the GA and my grandma's Caddy snuggle in the garage. :)

And the other GA pictured is my neighbor friend's.

Looks like the makings of a fairly bad storm there. We get a few of those in IA every couple of years, great fun! **remembers the 2-3 inch ice storm from back in 1992**

Looks like fun! We got hit with a similar storm in December....made for an interesting christmas, first white christmas in the area since 1992! No fun driving...in fact, that's why I switched to alloys after the ice storms, I slid and hit a curb with the FR wheel, a steelie, and it got bent pretty bad...but no other damage to the body... replaced wheels, new brakes, didn't need as much alignment as I thought itd need... be careful out in the ice!

We've been without power since Tuesday. Just now got it back. National Guard is here. 400,000 Kentuckians were without power at one point. The orange brick house is mine.

Thanks for the pictures, I never really get to see things like that down here in Florida.

Glad to see that you are back, & it doesn't look like you have too much damage at your place. Your tree wont ever look the same though.
