I just found the cause of all of my brake fluid loss...looking down the caliper I found fresh brake fluid dripping down the backing plate. Apparently either the caliper is bad, or I botched the rebuild job on it.. Looked like it was leaking on the bottom side of the piston, and the seal looked to have still been on there...

If anyone have a _working_ 1988 Fiero right rear caliper that'd be great. I know it's recommended to use the '86 STE calipers but I have the fiero ones working with STE parts so it's all good :)

According to Advance auto, Both are part number 18-4310 and cost 97.99..So they look to be the same part. I learned something here. There are a few Fiero's in local yards and I will scour them for calipers. Are the caliper brackets the same as the STE's? A cheap swap if so...

No they are slightly different with the e-brake but it mounts the same I guess.

The ebrake might be diferent, but you can just swap that from your old caliper..

Gonna have to go see if the caliper brackets could work.I can probably get them easy and cheap enough..Would be good to look into as I'd like to have rear disc setups on all of my GS's..

If I'm reading AZ correctly a 1986 Fiero one is only $50, but an 86 STE is $100. But how will that link up with what I have now?
