quick question here. just out of curiousity, will a grille from a 94 ciera work on an older one with the sealed beam and headlight bezels? i like the sealed beam/bezel look but i have the grille from my old 94 wagon with the newer headlights. and if i were to end up with another ciera (fingers crossed) i would want to use both. can it be done? i dont know if all the mounting holes/bolts are in the same location for the grille. thanks for info

It'll work back to '86 (same size same mounting position and holes) but before that the grills on the '82 to '85 Cieras are taller. What year Ciera do you have?

I was under the impression that even up to 1986/87, before the transition to the euro headlights, the bumpers and the sealed beam headlight equipped headers had different levels...IE, bumper from older sealed beam headlight on a newer header panel, its gonna have a noticeable gap between grille's lower edge and bumper's top. this is true all the way up to 1987 or 86 transitional headers. you;d do well to find a header like this one

as a side note, all bumpers and head units WILL bolt up to the frame points regardless of the year, for the same model cars, except for 1982-1984 A bodies and Chevrolet Celebrities. (1982-1996 ciera is the example i am thinking)e

engine cracked and trans burned out. insurance put it there. i dont know if its still out there (Zerniaks, in upstate NY) if you can find this particular year ciera with all that, you would do well to get it as i've tried a 1994 grille onto it and it lines up, although i prefer the grille it has on there to the 94 grille (unless you do the GT/International black out slats....)

thats exactly what i have. i painted it myself, and it actually came out quite good. never chipped off at all.

ooo nice! i'm trying to score a buick grille that has all vertical slats and will fit my car so i can give it the same treatment ;)
