i am just about to get a 50$ chrysler lebaron convertable with a blown headgasket. Nice condition black leather interior, dent free exterior. Good tires and what not, but the convertable top has a glass rear window. It became seperated from the lower section of vynyl. It appears this window assembly with all the vinyl attatched is a seperate unit from the top. So it is removable. Any ideas on repairing it? It appears it actually has ripped the vinyl not came unglued.

Even better yet, anyone seen one of these heaps in the junkyard with a gray/black (honestly, im gonna sell it, so any color) top and a good rear window section, my tops in great shape, just that window.

About any upholstery shop should be able to do something with it. There are never any good used tops around here. A guy I work with was looking for a while, but ended up buying a new one for cheap and had it installed at a local upholstery shop. His is an ugly white top though, so that might be why it was cheap.
