only 1 type of axles...CV shafts.....and only the transmissions as diffs......you've got choices of 4t60/th440 4t60E, 4t60EHD (old L67 series 1 and possibly LQ-1 engines were mated to it?), then the 4t65E, 4t65EHD...gear sets are as follows, GX3 3.33 FDR, 2.75, 2.84, and i've heard 2.92?? but they are just FDRs......i have yet to hear of custom gear ratios to the point where you could get 3.75 or higher FDRs.... Axles will be a custom job. They have to be made of parts designed for your current transmission and the 4T65. turbokinetic posted which ones in his transmission swap thread. (http://www.a-body.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1589)

Then drop this guy a line. (http://www.engineered.net/) He can build a 440-T4/4T65 hybrid—that is, put the guts of a 4T65 into the case of a 440-T4 (also known as 4T60). You can then use stock axles. It won't be cheap though—he quoted me around $3000 plus core for that type of job.

As for using your stock transmission, you can, but I don't see it holding up for very long behind even a regular 3800, let alone a supercharged one.

Use a 4T60-HD found in Early model 3800 Supercharged or Turbo Grand Prixs. Or Just get the rebuild parts for them and build yours up. Using your stock transmission, it wont last long.
