EDIT: Found a set of wheel covers. Disregard this thread! Thank you!

Hey folks. This is the original hubcaps off my mom's 89 LeSabre. The car has 14" rims. One of the hubcaps got destroyed. I've looked at numerous salvage yards and can't locate these. All the cars I find have different retaining mechanism, and the hubcaps are shaped slightly different.

The ones I can find "all day long" have a small 3/8" bolt that holds them to the wheel. What I need has the plastic retaining nut that screws onto the end of the CV driveshaft. This car has green retaining nuts as pictured below.

I need both the main "wire spoke" hubcap, AND the center-cap (with the Buick emblem). I do have the locknuts from the old caps. I would like to buy at least TWO of this exact setup: Two center caps, and 2 wire wheelcovers.

Strangely the center cap says "A and N body" but this came factory-issue on an H-body car!

Thanks in advance!

David

I'll keep an eye out next time I go to the yard. I'm gonna try and pick up a few things for my new car.

I know its stupid to say anything but Im a bit annoyed right now... I had just what you needed up till about 3.5 years ago... damn... capwise that is, my safety locks were more clover shaped, you could have had them. I had accumulated enough sets of alloys I knew I'd never use them again. Had the Olds caps when I got the Regency too but put the crosslace 15's on and sent those caps out as well, same time I believe, I think the 86 Riv I sent had the same caps. I had to clean up, no choice. I do have a set of decent 15" t-type wheels I'd like to sell, 150+ ship, I'll never use them. Probably not what she wants, then your into buying 4 tires too, so probably not worth it.

She-it, I can still picture those sitting on that shelf in my head like yesterday, they sat there for years. Sorry man, prolly still have the new tool I had to buy to fit the locks too cause the 86 came without one.

That's the way it goes! These cars are getting less common and it seems the "appearance" items disappear first. The thought does count (at least to me) so I appreciate the note anyway!

I did locate a set of 4 and bought them, so thanks to all who read this!
