yup that worked, wow that's a clean one. Usually with vans the back seats are gunked up from kids, but those seats look brand new.

That second one's already gone too. :( I wanted to see the van. I would love to get a loaded Silhouette one day, though it'll likely never happen. The Silhouette was the one that got all the best options - overhead console with compass and outside temp, almost always had power sliding door, steering wheel radio controls...too bad they never sold them in Canada - USA only. We only got the Lumina APV and Trans Sport.

Wow I got a deleted by author too. Must have been a nice clean car to go that quick.

I always liked the U-vans, especially the Silhouette.

Actually, I liked all of the minivan examples from the 80s and early 90s. The dustbuster U-van from GM, the awkward looking Aerostar from Ford, the hilarious looking Toyota vans, and the car everyone's parents seemed to have, the Chrysler minivan. But by the time the late 90s rolled around, all the vans from every company kind of looked alike.

Funny, that. In the mid-90s, GM and Chrysler decided to redesign their vans right around the same time. They each thought the other's current design was pretty good, so they cribbed it. So the Chrysler vans came out in '96 looking like a dustbuster, and the following year, GM's came out looking a lot like the boxy Chryslers.

lol... I always wondered about that. When the Windstar replaced the Aerostar (right around the same time) it sort of ended up being halfway between boxy and dustbuster, if you ask me.

My friends parents had a Lumina APV. I always felt like we were in the Space Shuttle in that thing. lol

Yeah, Ford came out with the Windstar in '94, so they probably did sort of combine both their competitors' designs. They even based it on their midsize car too—it shared lots of stuff with the Taurus.

I kinda did too, driving my old '90 Silhouette. Too bad it didn't go like a rocket... 120 hp doesn't get you anywhere very fast. The one in this listing looks like it probably has the 170 hp 3.8 though. It looks like there's the "3800" badge on the door in the profile pic.
