I'm chasing a ABS controller, this would be the silver box next to the ECU behind the glove box on either a 1995 Century or Ciera with the 3100 V6. It has two connectors on it; one with heavy wires an the other with a lot of smaller wires. It's gotta be a 1995. Different P/N for '94, '95, and '96. These units do not have removable eproms. :-(

Anyone have easy access to a junkyard with a '95 Ciera or Century? Any anyone needs a pic, let me know.

Thanks,
Ken T.

Ugh... That yard I go to crushed most, if not all of their A-bodies. I don't know how many were '95 but there were a lot of door belt Cieras and Cents. :(

I know what box you speak of, as I've been back there a few times.

The guy does pull major electronics like computers before crushing, so maybe he still has them... Don't know when I'll be out there again though.

No rush, but if you see that '95 a-body.... ;-) I think I can get my cruise on again. ;-)

Will do. I'll try to get out there at least once this summer if only to look around. He doesn't mind people browsing as long as he knows them, and he works with my best friend so we're cool.

They are a bit skittish, but I think that's mainly for legal reasons. I used to have a sweet yard that I could browse in the 1980's, but sometime during the 90's it all changed.

Interestingly, that's right around the time that the concept of personal responsibility evaporated and was replaced with people having to be liable for the mistakes of others. ;)

Yep. The attitudes all changed. You walk on the yard, and you are viewed through slitted, suspicious eyes. :-(
