The Hollander says it's 1994-95 3.8 U van only...I just can't buy that.

I am wondering if anyone has changed the compressor in their 3.8 van and used one from say a 1994 L27 C or H body? Or even an L36 car?

It's probably one different mounting lug on the compressor body somewhere. Probably nothing that can't be overcome.

Actually thinking about it. I bet the vans came with a heavier duty compressor regardless whether front and rear air was installed or not. :D

From what I have gathered the compressor is the same for all of the C, H and U 3800 Vin L's 94-95....
