..and I was just in the Milwaukee area! Those 40k mile cars are rare. 5 years ago most guys on this board would spit at $2,400, but times are a changing...

I saw a car that's been sitting for over a year up here in Iowa....with a flat tire....an '87 Buick Regal GN. 40,000 original miles. $30,000. Imagine that, a car for sale, with a flat, probably not even running. $30,000, sitting outside, exposed to sun and snow!

Sounds like the FPR is leaking, common on the 2.8. Columbus, OH and salt belt... I bet that frame is swiss cheese.

Heck yeah it is. It always amazes me how these cars often had odd groupings of options selected. But this one has a goofy combo that I've seen a lot of: '88 Eurosport with 4cyl, power windows but not locks, gauges, standard solid bench seat and no rear defogger. Although the others were all painted either gold or light blue, I don't recall seeing a silver car with those options before. I think the other ones had the exterior decor package too, but my memory is fading some. I always assumed they all started life as fleet cars somewhere.

No tilt or cruise control either. A truly awful combo that someone has treated very well its whole life.
