    STICK SHIFT DUSTBUSTER!!!

    and it's black...

check out the tail lights and the extra fog lights and reverse lights out back...

guy evidently likes it enough to attend meets with it and several others like it...

700 Euro isn't a lot of money although I bet it costs a LOT more to ship it here...I've seen people pay $800-$1600 in shipping alone...plus a couple hundred to clean off soil and remove contamination...and a few hundred more in customs fees...and a few hundred more for taxes...

    BUT I WANTS IT...

Here were my search parameters, although many of the 1994 registered cars are 1995 models and you might have to wait until January 2020 to import, or 25 years past the manufacture date (in this van's case October 5 1994 so October 5 2019).

Rotterdam is the largest port in Europe so I would ASSUME lower cost to export. People in The Netherlands often speak English, especially the car nuts. Left hand drive vehicles are more common there. You can always change the speedo cluster to mph if you must. If it's a Europe-specific vehicle model like the Opel Corsas and Toyota Starlets and Nissan Micras and Ford Fiestas and odd things like Renault Twingos or This Honda Jazz I was originally looking for...you can get a used cluster from the UK for an mph speedometer.

Back to drooling over little cars...and if I see any more good GM stuff I'll add it to this thread...

1990 Beretta GTZ with a massive load of spare parts including several sets of tails and both black and white monochromatic wheels...

1986 Buick Somerset coupe, looks nice

1993 Corsica LT, check out those chunky tail lights

      https://www.autoscout24.com/offers/c...d3bb?cldtidx=2

1986 Ciera Brougham, but this was imported to NL, so no oddities other than the very low mileage

      https://www.autoscout24.com/offers/o...9538?cldtidx=1

Ditto, but this is a 1988 with the 3800, at a MUCH higher price

      https://www.autoscout24.com/offers/o...eeda?cldtidx=6

1985 coupe Ciera, but WAY too expensive

      https://www.autoscout24.com/offers/o...067?cldtidx=12

1988 (says 89) Grand Am sedan, Quad 4 automatic, this looks like an import (no amber tails, no fogs out back), pricey but clean

        Pretty cool stuff!

A few weeks ago, I was at the pick n pull down in the south end of town, there was a Somerset there with the very same blue bucket seat interior. It was exceptionally clean, with around 50k on it, iirc.

Nice old cars in those listings!

There was an old Somerset for sale at a dealer a few years ago. Nice shape. They wanted a few thousand for it.

Other than that, I don't remember the last time I saw a Gen 1 N body or J body, or even an L body, except for my neighbor who has a pair of Beretta GTZs for summer. But I still see a handful of A-bodies around.

I wonder how a Quad 4 stick would perform with something as heavy as an APV. Or if the trans would be capable of a V6.

I knew they had to redo the tail gate for the reverse lights due to them having the much larger plate. Just not sure about the other set of lights. The headlight washers. The front fenders having the turn signals just in front of the door. I am just baffled about the engine. I couldnt imagine them using the Junk4 (Quad4) engine in that set up. The 5 speed makes it cool thou!

Wonder if they're rear fog lights?

I also notice all 3 vans have hitches.

                I've seen near as many 300K mile Quad4s as I have 300K mile 3.8s...

180hp vs. 130 or so with the 3.1TBI? And no, way different bellhousing.

I was thinking 150-160 torque for the Quad 4, vs 170-175 for the 3.1 TBI, or 220-225 with the 3800.

Realistically speaking, all you would need is the pedals, center console with shifter, and shift cables, and then convert any APV into a 5 speed with donor parts. Its what the W-Body guys do.
