Conventional, Rapidfire platinum or OE Double Platinum? Are the OE worth double the price of the Rapidfire plugs?

At least in the 2.8/3.1 MPFI (never owned a 3100), I prefer conventional AC plugs. Tried the platinum tipped ones and ran like crap. The only Rapidfire plugs I liked were the original with the full size splined electrode that have been long since discontinued.
