    Track bar

    hey everyone,
I ordered a Moog track bar from rock auto. I thought I got the wrong one. It's a tube construction where as the factory is a hollow "U" shape. Is the track bar supposed to flex? The Moog bar is solid. I noticed an oversized bushing on one end I think attaches to the twist axle. Is that where the flexing occurs?
    thanks

There only needs to be a slight amount of rotational flex, the bushings provide that. The factory bar is only that flimsy u-channel construction to save cost and weight and the engineers deemed it adequate. A tubular bar is much better for strength and handling.
