    Welcome Home #4 Century GS...

    Well...
After 1350 miles, almost 100 gallons of gas(which I got for the cheapest in Ohio at 1.76 a gallon). Snow and ice event on 80 near home,WE MADE IT BACK! I averaged 13.5-13.8 mpg pulling my trailer with the 3100 lb car on back at 70 mph. My Jeep ran awesome and flawless. I couldn't have been more pleased with the Jeep. The car is worn compared to the pics, but still saveable. Today, I have to unload the car and clean up the trailer a bit. Looks like a trip to the power washer is in need. Here are a couple pics..I also got extremely lucky and found the buildsheet...I am 4 for 4 now...

I got this car for a whopping 0 dollars. He wanted it gone and told me to come get it. I spent 400 bucks for gas, tolls, food and gifts. I also got to visit friends in Chicago as well. It needs cleaned and I am starting a parts list for when I head to Harrys U Pull It the day after T giving day.I know of a real nice GS for sale but it's in Fla and it's a 1 owner car less than $1000 bucks and well worth it, It has 78,000 miles on it as well...

Nice find Pat. You're collecting GS's at about the same rate I'm collecting John Deere tractors! But you are one ahead on me, I've only got 3.

You guys miss nothing....lol Actually, from behind, the exhaust looks good, except the tips are a bit rusty. I'd like to fire it up and hear how it sounds. If possible,I'll shoot some pics and post this week.

Now thats awesome, does it still have the headlight covers?
Funny too I wonder if this is the same car that was listed on ebay two years ago had the exhaust routed the same way.

Anybody else notice how Pat just rolled right from "I got it for free...I'm making a list of parts I need..." to "...there's another one in Florida I'm thinking about." OBSESSED!!! Can't really blame ya - the GS is one of my favourite A-bodies I'll likely never own.
