        We had an old topic about that actually, I think it was more of a general oldsmobile commercial.. By V8 they probably were referring to the Aurora.

          Yeah, I was talking to my fiance and he said maybe they had it in the works before they decided to axe the car in 96... I know aurora's from 95-01 (i think) had the 4.0

            Ah, The 4.0 aka the baby northstar. I've been told these engines had the same head gasket problems as the Cadillac northstar engine. I've seen Auroras sell for less than A-Bodies of the same year. As soon as the odometer nears the 100K mark, people can't wait to get rid of them. Too bad, they were beautiful,well appointed cars.

            Great commercials. My how times have changed in 20+ years.

              Have you heard of any problems with the 3.5L V6 Shortstar motor in the 2001+ Auroras?
              What is this & what does pulling it out do?
