This was looked at extensively, and they are not supposed to be unique to the AWD. They were borrowed from a Pontiac Fiero if memory serves me correctly.

The FWD STE rear calipers are from a 1984-1987 Fiero. The AWD 6000 had different rear calipers of course.

The 1988 Fiero was different as they redesigned the car the way it should have been to begin with. At least car-part.com says the 1988 Fiero rear calipers interchange with the AWD 6000 rear calipers.

I was hoping lifting the powertrain with my HF lifting bar would make changing the rear transmission (4L60) mount a lot easier. Still sucks.
The only thing I though was cool was accessing the mount nut with 2 extensions and a flex joint.

A couple days ago I put both the Celeb and Cruiser on battery chargers. The Celeb took and I ran it for awhile. The Cruiser didn?t, turned out one of the battery bolts was stripped and loosened up. So I replaced both and got it charging. I had planned to take it out and wash it this weekend because it was supposed to hit 60f. Probably just as well since yesterday it barely got above freezing and today it hit 50f but was too cold to enjoyably wash it. Then it?s supposed to snow again later this week.

Also I replaced the vapor canister solenoid that wouldn?t close. Papawhellie sent me a couple last winter.

Recently I worked on getting the 3rd seat installed in my non-3rd seat equipped Celebrity wagon. I also started installing the pw/pl harness to match the full power doors I installed. Oh and replaced the door weatherstripping. Eventually I'll load pictures onto my computer and get the thread updated, lol

Same here, I?ll mess with the pics later. Today I took the Cruiser out of the garage and vacuumed out the interior. Then washed it really good including scrubbing the junk off the rocker panels. Sat in it and listened to 80s mixtape weekend on the radio till it got too cold. Then put it back away because today is supposed to be the last nice day for at least 2 weeks and we got a winter storm rolling in tomorrow.

Today I bought the autoxray 6000 scanner for $50 that I?ve been borrowing from a coworker. He kept it updated in the day but has long since moved on to newer things. The live data works great on my a bodies and it worked on my old trans sport too. I do have tuner pro on a laptop which is much more informative but this little thing is so convenient.

It's been more than 5years since the last time that I have replaced the tires of my vehicle, while the rim on the other side is already out of style.

Replaced leaking RR brake drum cylinder on my gray 90 Custom. Brakes no longer leaking fluid. Also got a flat tire on FL wheel. Swapped with one from gray 90 Limited. Tire had been shaking and is 14yrs old. Probably need a whole new set, but just got new tires on 90 2dr last month and 93 wagon last year.

Repainted Passenger side window trim of gray 90 Custom with gloss black. Was starting to rust and lots of primer showing through. Looks much better now.

Brown 90 Buick Century started acting up. Stalled out several times on way to work. Temp light and CEL kept flashing. No heat would come out of vents. Replaced thermostat yesterday and finally got heat to come out of vents but engine still stalls out. OBD1 scanner has data stream that shows temp reading fluctuates every few seconds from 160ish to nearly 300 and then right back down to 160ish. I'm thinking temp sensor is going bad, so probably gonna put a new one in. Water pump looks newer, has no play, and the water circulates now that the thermostat has been replaced. Before thermostat replacement, only one radiator hose would get warm and the other was cool even though car was riding down the highway for several miles and stalling out etc.

Replaced fuel tank, sender, strainer, filter, and small section of line on my gray 90 Century Custom sedan. No more gas leak.

Last weekend I vacuumed and washed the interior. Now just took it through the best wash and parked it probably for the winter. Going in for surgery tomorrow and might not be able to drive again before it snows.

Hope everything goes well. I know that feeling getting everything ready expecting to be out of commission for a while.
