What Did You Do to Your A-Body Today?

Hey. I figured this'd be a good "keep us up to date" on things too inane to make posts about, but we are bursting to share with the world (at least those of us who care ). Sorry if it's been done before, but for what it's worth, I did my best to search and be sure I'm not duplicating something.

So, I guess I'll start: Today I drew a smiley face in the snow on the window on my car while taking the recycling to the garage.

Hopefully the rest of y'alls have been much busier.

Well, my '88 Celeb Euro coupe, '96 Ciera and the wife's '88 Ciera Brougham sedan just kinda sat around and got snowed on today. My '89 Ciera International, well, I hope it's doing ok - it's sitting in a storage facility next to my '76 Cutlass 10 miles away.

Checked engine codes regarding sporadic no-start condition. Got a 43 code for the Knock Sensor.

Well, I looked at it once. The car has more or less been sitting for the last couple years... needless to say, progress is slow. It's been nearly done for a while now too. Just need to block/prime the passenger side one more time, paint the door and trunk jambs, then sand/paint the rest of the car. Maybe this year, lol.

Just got the S10 inspected and running. '95 Century patiently awaiting me to replace the paper thin brake pads. '96 Century long suffering waiting on a new set of struts.

Absolutely nothing. I walked past it to get my bike out of the garage, rode 5 miles to work, and walked past it again to put my bicycle away again. Insurance expired, and I can't justify renewing my policy until I have it running dependably again. Can't wait till my day off Sunday. Hope the weather's nice enough to tool around under the hood.

did interior cleaning (vacuuming, armor-all, polishing of plated parts; febrezed seats and vacced them); and trunk's carpet is showing signs of water entrance..however; there are no wet spots or stains anywhere underneath the trunklid or the surrounding bodywork..so put all water-sensitive stuff out there and used 2 detergerent buckets to hold my car cleaning supplies and rags and some tools.

Put the CD player in, and it sounds AWESOME! Took the Gas cap off while it was running, and it instantly runs perfectly. I had a great day!

Haven't got another one yet. I do have a 1992 Ciera in my bookmarks coming up for auction on the 28th. It's pretty nice looking but the driver window is down so not sure how tore up the interior might be. Starting bid is only $150 so who knows!
