Coil over conversion? I'm highly interested in that.

EDIT: I still have the VR seats and spoiler if you're interested. I could make a trip to deliver it some time in the future, since I've been meaning to spend some alone time for a while. I would love to see this car in person as well.

Hi Duke George V, the coil over conversion is on the horizon. I purchased this Addco sway bar almost one year ago and finally had access to a lift to make installation easier. The sway bar is available through Addco, I had to wait about three months after I put in the order for it. The addition of the sway bar sure plants the back end nicely, no more squirming around.

Looking forward to the coil over conversion to fix the floaty front end.

Let me know when you start thinking about planning a road trip. You can PM me about those VR bits.

Nice! How is the handling compared to before the sway bar installation?

Handling is much improved. Now I have to take care of the floaty front end. The rear sway bar made the Celebrity much more competent in the corners.

Hey Steve I have a question for you , any chance dropping me a email mx67627@aol.com . My question could you get me a picture where the clutch slave cylinder is from near the brake booster . I have a complete 5 speed getrag 282 set up and cables brake and clutch assembly . But the ? Is the reservoir line runs to the clutch slave cylinder ever where I seen pictures it’s not clear and buying new has 2 different types . Thanks Steve hope family and Mitch is well

Keith, sure can do! Will send you and email. The clutch master cylinder is very low, below the booster it's a royal PIA to get access. The slave and master are nearly the same level, which makes bleeding the system a challenge. Glad you were able to source a complete Getrag 282 set up. Still have that console with your name on it.

Keith, not sure if the photos I sent helped as far as the location of the master cylinder on the firewall. The reservoir for the master cylinder is on the strut tower. If you need photos of the set up I can send you some. Let me know. I am not sure which line you are asking about. Just to be clear, on the 282 transmission the clutch slave cylinder is mounted to the transmission near the accumulator. The clutch master cylinder is mounted beneath the power brake booster. The bolt pattern for the master cylinder more like a trapezoid. Four studs but the top two have a different dimension between them than the bottom two. The reservoir is a small circular shape with a plastic cap. There is a flexible line that runs down to the master cylinder. As you may be aware the clutch system uses brake fluid so the flexible rubber line must be compatible with brake fluid. Let me know if you need pictures of the reservoir.

Keith, be aware the master cylinder front is pitched down slightly. The hydraulic hose fits into the end of the master with a small roll pin. Use a small punch or a pick to push it in enough to get needle nose pliers on it. The roll pin should pull out easy. The hose from the master to the reservoir is clocked at about 1:00 I tried to show the routing of it. You will find there is a lot of crap in the way. I removed the fuel line anchor clips from the rocker panel all the way to beneath the booster so I could shift the fuel line away to give extra clearance. Here are some more photos for you. First picture is slave on the transmission. Next are the master on the cowl. Tried to show the clocking of the hose. Then the reservoir on the strut tower.Click image for larger version

Well, now I think it might be the brake line clips. Once you get in there you will see what I am talking about. To eliminate frustration, install the master while the engine is out. I can tell you the R&R with the engine in the car is HELL on Earth. Don't go there!
