All A-body members in the Houston area stay safe!!
Ken T. and AVTech keep those "A" cars dry if you can.
Yeah it is! Both A-cars are in the garage high and dry. The ol' S10 has commuter duty to slog through the 20 mile commute to the Med Center. Had some high water on Monday morning, so it was good to have the little truck.
Back when tropical storm Allison hit in '01, I had two vehicles up to the steering wheel.
After that mess I got a place outside of Houston city limits, but just like Sugar Land getting over 8"
There is really nowhere completely safe in the "Houston" area. It all drains down...
Hopefully Houston won't have to declare the Zika virus mosquito as its mascot to compliment its name as the bayou city.
I know 9 counties including Austin, and the Central Texas area got disaster declarations so this one was bad for all of us!
This weekend is your chance to save a bit on stocking up in Texas:
“The severe weather, fire and flooding we had last year provided a stark reminder that Texans should be prepared for any emergency,” Hegar said. “This tax holiday allows people to save money while ensuring they have the supplies they need if disaster strikes.”
