Cleaning Aluminum

OK, so, as part of Wednesdays rebuild, I'm looking to clean up the aluminum parts. I already have some etching cleaner for the UIM and a couple other parts. My concern is for the LIM and injector seals. I would rather not create more problems than I've already got, so what are ya'lls secret tricks for making things shiny?

Yes - Zep industrial purple degreaser is the best choice. Then pressure wash afterwards to remove the dissolved grime.
