    Domain expired WHAT?

All yesterday afternoon and evening this site was unreachable.

Said the domain had expired or something and it was, 12/3/11, but I guess it updated the nameservers, but it still doesn't have a new expiry date.

Scared the CRAP out of me!

Looks like things are pretty normal, I had a bit of a scare and thought some things were gone.

Not uncommon for an individual run site...they forget to renew the service, and like clockwork, site goes down.

Sorry about that. The domain should auto-renew, but the credit card they had on file was expired.

IT'S BACK! I didn't know what to do

I'd rather drive a cobbled together rustbucket Ford than a brand new Chrysler anyday.

I know that feeling!!! Lost my Internet account because of that once. Bad feeling they treat you like a deadbeat no matter how long you have been a customer.

Thanks for getting it up and going!

Thank you for getting it back up and running. I'm kinda bugged about those things because I let some of my domains expire earlier this year. But anyhow, I now see how irritating it is to run boards and have to pay attention to all sorts of things. I have a Colt Vista message board now and I'm about to start one for minivans in general.

What, CarMD has not put these forums out of business?

I was watching a Puerto Rico station today, and they had an infomercial on this gizmo. Just a OB-II code reader that is modified to work with computer software program of theirs.

It's a neat idea, but code readers don't always "tell the truth."

                            ...or the whole truth anyway.

Problem is some of those folks get ripped off via few bad mechanics, and some who throw parts at it, at customer's expense.

A product like this would not be a hard sell to those who are clueless, mechanically.
