Can't upload pictures from a smartphone too big

Hi I'm having problems uploading a picture too this site .

It's telling me my picture side exceeds the limit .
It's over what they want .
I'm using a android phone and it takes pictures from the camera of this smartphone .
3100 x whatever side .
What am I doing wrong .

Hopefully we can get Cutlass to chime in. I am not sure on this one.

It should work now, for images up to 4096 pixels. We have to set a server limit somewhere. The site software will resize it to 1024px and thumbnail it.
