I've found a 1980 Chevy Malibu that is mostly complete except for tail lights and door handles. The rear quarter is dented and punctured, but car has no other rusted through areas, only some surface rust where paint has been scratched. Can anyone direct me to a forum (similar to this) for these cars? I don't even know the body platform.
It is gold, 4 door, has Buick 3.8L carb motor and 3 speed auto trans.
I'm interested in learning about making a carbureted turbo system and may attempt a blow-through system on this, for educational reasons then sell the car to recover the cost of getting it running.
I'm trying to figure out if it is worth getting a title for. That would cost about $100. I'm going to see if the engine/ trans are good first.
