    Its not for Sale

This is happned to me alot of times, il see a car sitting I think I could get cheap, Il knock and ask and they say its not for sale, it has sat for 2-3 years. Then in a couple years they send it to the crusher. Why do people quit driving a car sit it in thier yard for 5 years and then crush it, and not sell it to anyone else?
I have also seen people who one 7-10 cars, and they drive them all, like they think they need a seperate car to drive each day of the week.

tech many people like my family have many cars (last year we had 20) this year is 16. we have 4 coviars (no for sale!!! when we fell like fixing 1 or 2 (the others are parts) we will) we own a few 80's gm 6.2 diesel and swaped in 6.5 diesel trucks and a suberban (not for sale there parts and or total fixable if a car is needed) we also own a few random cars aquired though out the years.

though out the years we have had people wanted to walk away with some of the cars for cheap. it aying seeing peole want ot pay 200 bucks for 500+ if they part the truck out.

i guess what im saying is its there car and they will do what they want with it. if i want ot own 6 cars i drive all the time i will. and i plan on it. i plan on having the 70's wagon to take the family on on the weekend with. i plan on haveing a 70's skylark to drag and go out on friday night with my wife and just cruise. i plan on hacking together a bug with a 350 or 396 in it lol. and i plan on doing a northstar fiero swap. so why not

So when I had the other STE in my driveway I should have sold it to the guys who came to the door looking to buy it for $200 to DEMO it? Just cause they wanted it. When what I did was sold some parts for $400 AND got some parts to complete mine, AND have about $1600 left in AWD specific parts incase something goes wrong with mine?

And I can say $1600 cause I have the ABS System and computer, ENGINE and TRANS, along with the ECM, rear air struts, alt, starter, rear seat, console, door handles, windows, and window motors. I bet if I had to buy all those things it would cost $1600 easy.

        Ummm...let's see...
Maybe they keep them because they are theirs! There is a novel idea. Someone keeping the stuff they own regardless of whatever random person wants to wander by and buy it. Seriously...if you walk by someone's house this spring are you going to offer to buy their lawn furniture because you think they have too many chairs???
        If you do...
        Don't post about it please.

Worst thing is when you ask about a car only to see it in the yard a short while later.
I got nine cars tech, eat it.

              haha...

all ragging on you aside, tech, a lesson it seems that you should learn is that cars are built in a weekend.
i bought an s10 blazer 3 years ago. i just got it on the road 3 weeks ago.
i didnt tear into it and make a mess. i fixed it a little at a time. and its not even done now.

sometimes i didnt touch it for months do to lack of funds or interest. and it wasnt for sale. no matter how many times i was asked.

thats how i got 3 of the cars i had owned. My 86 Subaru was 100 bucks in some guys driveway with a shit ton of leaves on it, sat 2 years. My 84 Mazda 626 was 400, i harrassed the guy for like over a year, he did want 800, and it sat for 6 years! My 6000 was in some ladies yard, needed just a battery, sat almost 2 years. You gotta rub em just right, ask em whats up with it, if they have plans, what your lookin for, ask em if they might think about selling it. They say yes every time for me, lol, They always want me to offer (wich is bad, I will throw 100 bucks out no matter what, lol. I even almost bought a Subaru XT and another 6000 LE the same ways, lol)

It took me some 5 years or so to get my TGP road worthy... And its still not done. Have to get the body redone, and some other stuff.. Hoping to make it into the ultimate sleeper with a lil ol 3.1. Get it down into the 11.5 range.
