Been awhile since i was on here. Finally getting some things done on the celebrity. Got a interior working on.

Plus i had a little accident one day but lucky it just destroyed my dryrotted tire it didnt hurt the car far as i know. Still drives the same got it up at 207k miles now. And since the olds 98 is up and running well the celebrity has its chance for a big overhaul get her freshened up

Thanks. Yeah mobile imgur sucks my pics from a while back are set up from the desktop version i understand the desktop version better that chevy centercap i stuck on there when i got the rims the 1 center was broken it wouldnt stay on. Couple people i know scratch their head when they saw it it fits on perfect

I may even have a Tape Deck or CD player I can sell you for cheap. They are out of a Pontiac, so they would have the grey facia, but they still go nicely..

I even have a Pioneer 1.5 din that would go in there nicely

Only reason i just been using it alittle. Rare radio 1982 only hard to find they changed the analog ones in 83 i wanted an analog am fm stereo and i found one and its in perfect order. Ive got piles of radios literally piles of them. I used to work at a junkyard nobody wanted the tape players but thats all i wanted. Ive got a collection of gm stereos along with other random stereos. 8 track players and all

Then the ones i modified. I dont really go for aftermarket units unless its a really good tape deck and even then its questionable. I would put a chrysler infinity cassette deck in a chevy before an aftermarket. Those chrysler stereos are pretty nice. But they are a little too long so they dont fit right in gm

Yea, Photobucket is so much easier. I cleaned up the post, keeping the story line clean so to speak.

8Track? I still have some of them somewhere around. John Denver, Boston, and others. No Player, just the 8tracks

I think ive got nearly 2000 8 track tapes. Probably 30 or so players although i dont remember how many actually work any more. I know ive got at least 8-10 players that work. 4 of which are quad compatible players. The 4 channel surround sound 8 tracks. Ive got probably 4 quad tapes. Used to have more of them but i sold the ones i didnt care for. Alot of quads have some value harder to find those. .. Some of the players i have youd be suprised that they even turn on let alone play tapes at all. The old magnavox i dug it out of the ground at a junkyard. Its all beat up. I took it apart and sprayed it with a hose outside. It was so full of mud and dirt. Left it dry for about a week. Got it hooked up stuffed a tape in it. It moaned a little then the motor shot out a pile of dust making all kind of noises but it cleared up. Still plays to this day. Not the best but the fact it works is suprising. Hard to adjust the components because every adjustment is bent. And track 4 the heads dont drop to 4 far enough so track 1-3 plays fine but 4 is a cross of 3 and 4. Havent got around to fixing that i just use my big panasonic as a regular player. I dont keep 8 track in the car much. Sunlight heat and the tape are not freinds.
