    92 Silhouette on craigs--Birmingham

    http://bham.craigslist.org/cto/5559434228.html

jeez this thing looks clean. 1500 bucks and 80k miles. 3.8. I just don't think I can handle another project right now. : - (

Doc, Looks like it got deleted.
I always had an eye for the "Dust buster" vans. Its tough not having a vehicle capable of hauling whatever I want.
Having to wait on delivery of a water heater, or lumber etc... I can't afford a 70's classic like I had before, a Silhouette might be as close as I get if I ever lost my Ciera, but there is a strong argument for an A wagon.

As you know, I am a proponent of the wagons, but given the choice, I would pick a 3.8 van over a wagon any day of the week, and twice on Sunday. They are just vastly more capable at carrying things and people, drive very similarly to a car, and get nearly the same fuel economy as a car. I guess the only downside would be maintenance. The front end design isn't really conducive to DIY spark plug changes and the like.
