Yes it does. Poster wasn't sure where No. Caly was.

    Try Santa Rosa....So Cal sucks..

85 Ciera: If RSF is so cool why are U in Kansas?

I'd go back there IF I could afford it. Maybe if I win my appeal and sue for $1.2M and win , I will.

Well now, if you haven't "lived" in Rancho Santa Fe, California, you haven't lived, btw.

Northern Caly starts at Carmel. Not at Santa Barbara as most think. Wiki is close but no cigar. They are a Brit post, good on scientific topics, but fulla s*** about A/C Cobras, Chevy Vegas, LDS; anything American. If U include the entire counties, it is right politically but not geographically/geometrically. And Wiki needs know that No Ca has always wanted to split, it still does. N/S are two different worlds.

Bay area includes all 9 bay area counties. Any that have a border touching the bay; not just the greater metro area of Oakland/San Francisco/ San Jose. You forgot the vineyards; although now the central valley and much of the central/southern coast now has them. They didn't 40 years ago--it was only Napa/Sonoma counties. Their wines are still world famous while the the upstarts' aren't.

Northern California, often abbreviated NorCal, is the northern portion of the U.S. state of California.

Spanning the state's northernmost 48 counties, in contrast to the 10 counties of Southern California,[1][2] its main population centers include the San Francisco Bay Area (anchored by the cities of San Francisco, San Jose, and Oakland), the Greater Sacramento area (anchored by the state capital Sacramento), and the Metropolitan Fresno area (anchored by the city of Fresno). Northern California also contains redwood forests, along with the Sierra Nevada including Yosemite Valley and part of Lake Tahoe, Mount Shasta (the second-highest peak in the Cascade Range after Mount Rainier in Washington), and the northern portion of the Central Valley, one of the world's most productive agricultural regions.

Parts from these cars should work, as the '80 to '85 skylark, Omega & Phoenix are the same platform http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_X_platform_(1980)

They should all be in California, but I don't know what is considered the northern part.

The X platform was used in 1982 as the basis for the new front-wheel drive A-body cars.

My gut reaction is that an a-body would work, you may want to be sure to get one from before they switched the rear spring style so you can get the swing arm and everything, so i think that is like 90 and earlier.

Would an A-body axle work, or is the X-body too narrow?
